Dear Year 7 parents and carers

We are delighted to invite you to a special Year 7 event on Thursday 18 September, designed to help you connect with your child’s form tutor—their first point of contact at school. Come along to learn more about how we work in partnership with families to support student wellbeing and progress.

First, you will need to book an appointment with your child’s tutor on our Arbor Parent App in the Guardian Consultations area. If you haven’t yet logged into Arbor, please visit bulwellacademy.org.uk/arbor-parent

Tutors will be waiting to meet you in our newly refurbished canteen, along with support staff who you can talk to about any SEND, safeguarding or attendance concerns you may have. There will also be helpdesks you can visit if you need support with any of our IT platforms – Arbor Parent (for online payments, clubs, trips, personal data and communications); Kickboard (for monitoring your child’s achievements and behaviour) and online homework platforms.
