At THE BULWELL ACADEMY, we place the highest priority on safeguarding children.

Every year group has a Safeguarding assembly delivered weekly to ensure they are knowledgeable on specific areas of safeguarding.

To ensure all students are safe, we need the support of all staff, parents, visitors and our community. If you have any concerns or worries about the safety and welfare of our students, please inform the Safeguarding Team immediately. DO NOT KEEP CONCERNS TO YOURSELF.

The school is part of the Operation Encompass initiative. This provides school with a direct link to the local police force who can inform the school of any incidents of domestic violence in homes which affect our students. This vital link allows us to ensure that students are better protected and can be offered more support.
