Behaviour Curriculum
The behaviour curriculum promotes a positive school culture centred on our core values: Aspire, Work Hard, Be Kind.
It is designed to ensure students develop the emotional intelligence, resilience, and sense of responsibility needed to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
It provides a framework for supporting our students to be fully rounded citizens.
Why does this matter?
- Proactive approach to behaviour–instead of addressing behaviour issues after they occur, teaching behaviour explicitly is a proactive way to prevent problems like bullying, disrespect, or classroom disruptions.
- Students learn to take accountability for their actions
- Creates a positive learning environment–reduces disruptions
- Provides clear expectations
