Attend our Bulwell Boost sessions to connect with friends.
The Bulwell Boost extracurricular programme is designed to give students wider opportunities to further explore their interests, develop their skills and knowledge or discover new activities.
We offer a wide range of activities over lunchtimes and after-school with the aim of enhancing student enjoyment, personal connections between staff and pupils and the development of key skills which will enable students to succeed in school and in life.
The Bulwell Boost Offer
Our Bulwell Boost after-school clubs can be found in the Arbor Parent App (look for Clubs in the Activities area).
Parents/Carers must provide consent for their child to attend any after-school activities through Arbor Parent before their child attends any sessions.

Please note: You must renew your child’s membership every term. Membership does not carry forward from one term to another.
Lunchtime Clubs - Timetable
No sign-up is required for our lunchtime clubs. Just turn up. Please make sure you have trainers for any PE activities.
Bulwell Boost Loyalty Card: Earn Bulwell Bucks!

Students can earn 50 Bulwell Bucks (rewards points) for completing their Bulwell Boost Loyalty Card (by attending 10 after-school sessions). Loyalty cards are available to collect from the PE Office. Students taking part in PE fixtures will also earn 25 Bulwell Bucks every time they represent the Academy.

Boost your Learning: Year 10 & Year 11 Catch-Up & Revision Sessions
As the academic year progresses, we will introduce a schedule of ‘Drop-in’ sessions or Interventions for Year 10 and Year 11 to help consolidate their learning, provide coursework catch-up opportunities and revision support for exams.
If your child is invited to attend any of the sessions or if you feel they would benefit from attending, please sign them up by providing consent in the Clubs area of the Arbor Parent App.
Year 11 After-School Masterclasses
To help prepare for the summer exams, please encourage your child to attend after-school Masterclasses.
The full schedule of classes will be published on our Year 11 page and promoted to students through Forum.
You will also receive regular Year 11 briefings and letters to let you know when Year 11 after-school classes are available in Arbor Parent.

What is the Bulwell Boost Offer?
Our Bulwell Boost sessions include: After-School Clubs, Lunchtime Clubs, and Year 10 and 11 ‘Extra Study’ sessions (or interventions).
What time do after-school clubs start and finish?
Most clubs run between 2.50pm and 3.50pm. The time is given on every after-school activity in Arbor Parent.
How do I register my child for a Club?
There is no sign-up for lunchtime clubs. However, parental consent must be provided before your child attends any after-school activity. You will need to have access to Arbor Parent to register your child for after-school clubs. Clubs can be found in the Activities area of Arbor Parent.
How can I see which clubs my child is registered for each day?
Your child's current Clubs will show in their calendar on Arbor Parent.
How do I let school know that my child no longer wishes to attend a Club?
To remove your child from clubs they no longer wish to attend, please email enquiries@bulwellacademy.org.uk.
