As Assistant Principal for Behaviour & Culture at The Bulwell Academy, I am proud to lead on creating a calm, respectful and inclusive environment where every student feels safe, supported and ready to succeed.

Our school values — Aspire, Work Hard, Be Kind — are at the heart of everything we do. They guide our approach to behaviour, helping students to set high goals, give their best effort every day, and treat others with respect and compassion. My role is to ensure these values are embedded in our expectations, routines, and the support we offer to every young person.

I bring with me a broad range of experience from my work as a classroom teacher, middle leader and senior leader in schools across Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about creating strong relationships, promoting inclusion, and helping students overcome barriers so they can thrive both academically and personally.

At The Bulwell Academy, I work closely with staff, families and the wider pastoral team to support positive behaviour, encourage ambition, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
