Having grown up in the local community, I feel a deep sense of responsibility and pride in serving the students in our care. My passion lies in breaking down barriers and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to succeed—not just in school, but in life.

I’m incredibly proud to be working alongside our students, staff, and families as we shape the future of The Bulwell Academy together.

My journey in education has taken me from five years at an international school in Bahrain to The Nottingham Emmanuel School, where I served as Director of Achievement and helped the school secure its strongest ever GCSE outcomes. I then moved to Djanogly City Academy as Assistant Principal, leading on safeguarding, attendance, and behaviour—a role I thoroughly enjoyed and one that gave me the experience and insight needed to take on a pivotal leadership role at Bulwell.

I joined The Bulwell Academy in September 2023 as Vice Principal for Behaviour, where we quickly established a behaviour system rooted in reflection, restoration, and relationship-building. In January 2024, I stepped into the role of Acting Head of School, and in March 2025, I was honoured to be appointed as the substantive Principal—a proud and humbling moment for both me and my family.
