Whilst at The Bulwell Academy, students will explore an enriched Personal Development (PD) curriculum across PSHE —'Personal, Social, Health & Economic' Education— but also within other lessons too. This is to ensure that our students are feeling as well prepared for life after school as they can be.

The PSHE curriculum will involve a range of six leading areas of study. However, students will also be looking at the ideas and lessons learnt externally to the subject in the wider curriculum.

The six areas of study include:

• Multiculturalism
• Media and Society
• Friendships
• Protected Characteristics
• Ethical and Financial Dilemmas
