This was the academy's first inspection under Ofsted's new report card framework. Inspectors found that Bulwell Academy meets the Expected Standard in Attendance and Behaviour, Inclusion, Personal Development and Wellbeing, and Leadership and Governance. The inspection also confirmed that all safeguarding requirements are met. 

Inspectors recognised the positive culture that has been established across the academy and noted that "pupils are proud of their school and feel valued by adults."

I am incredibly proud of what our pupils, staff and community have achieved together. This report recognises the positive changes that have taken place across the academy and, most importantly, the experience pupils are having every day.
