Leaving school and entering the world can be a daunting time. Apprenticeships at 18+ can be a very cost-effective way of continuing your learning whilst earning a wage. There are a number of opportunities available to you and many professions, for example, accountancy and law, are keen to recruit hard-working and ambitious young people at an early age.
It is certainly worth investigating apprenticeship opportunities and researching the options. We would suggest reviewing the National Apprenticeship Service website as well as private providers such as Kaplan.
For local job opportunities, take a look at the Nottingham City Council’s apprenticeship vacancies.
