Be Her Lead aims to empower women within our school and community. Research shows that women are more likely to achieve when they are inspired and supported by other women.

It has been great to see more of our girls getting involved in the ‘Be Her Lead’ programme. Thank you for sharing your work and photos with us. After half-term, we hope to share some of your efforts on social media to inspire other young women to have a go.

Lockdown Mood Board Challenge

Have a go at creating mood boards to reflect on your time during lockdown. The Be Her Lead staff – Miss Taylor, Miss Critchley, Mel (School Counsellor), Miss Bowden, Mrs Vardy, Mrs Frost and Miss Bullock – have already created theirs. In these current times, we understand that you will be using social media a lot more than usual! We want to encourage you to use social media in a positive way and try to break up news feed. Try out our recommended free apps or Instagram pages to make better use of your mobile phone!

Doctors say that we have up to 60,000 thoughts a day and up to 80% of those thoughts can be negative – that is why the theme for this week is self-care! Have a go at our self-care challenges below, and send in your photos to Miss Taylor – see would love to see what you have been up to!
