Covid-19 Update
Reduced Menu & No Cash!

During the pandemic, we are operating a reduced one week menu, which will be updated each half term. Students can choose between main meal, vegetarian/vegan meal, jacket potato or baguette. There is a set price of £2.10 for a two course meal which includes an option of pudding or fruit.

  • There will be no Breakfast or Break-time service.
  • Free fruit will be provided at Break and students may bring their own snacks. All rubbish should be deposited in the bins.
  • Students may bring a Packed Lunch if they prefer.
  • Students should bring a refillable bottle for water (no other drinks are served in the Restaurant)

Due to Covid-19, we can no longer accept cash within school. Payment for meals needs to be made using ParentPay (or by cheque to The Bulwell Academy). Students have been issued with a Lunch card which they scan at the till when entering the Restaurant (this replaces biometric ID – fingerprint – scanning). Replacement lunch cards can be ordered on ParentPay at a cost of £5 (under other items).

Parents/carers need to ensure their child’s lunch account is topped up so it remains in credit (Low Balance Alert can be set in Communications – Alert Settings).
