Transition Days

The plan for this year’s Transition Days are still to be agreed.

At the beginning of July, we normally welcome Year 6 to school to take part in Transition Days, for the opportunity to meet their tutor group and take part in lessons across the curriculum. In 2020, due to the pandemic, we moved our Transition Days online.

Below, you will find our online Transition information from last year.

Please spend some time exploring the resources with your child by clicking on the red button below.

If you have any questions, please contact the Transition Team. Details of how to get in touch can be found further down the page.

Letters and Forms

In this section we will publish copies of letters and forms that we send home. Please ensure all forms are completed and returned. If you need to make any changes to your contact information, please contact the school office or email details of your changes to:

Welcome Pack

The first letter you will receive from The Bulwell Academy once you have accepted your offer will be our Welcome Pack. Last year, we sent our new starters the guides below. These were particularly supportive during the pandemic when we could not invite our new Year 7s into school. We hope to send you similar information this year in the event that Transition may be online again.
