Learning online is the quickest, safest and most effective way for us to provide regular work that mirrors the lessons taking place in class. Remote learning will continue to be available for all students who are not in school and learning from home.

To make it easy for students to access their remote learning, assignments will be placed in Microsoft Teams in the Assignments tab. Assignments will be titled as ‘Subject Name – for students working from home’. The Teams that these will be found in are as follows:

  • Year 11 = ‘Year 11 Live Lessons’
  • Year 10 = ‘Year 10 Live Lessons’
  • Year 9 = ‘9G – All students in G half’ and ‘9N – all students in N half’
  • Year 8 = ‘8G – All students in G half’ and ‘8N – all students in N half’
  • Year 7 = ‘7G – All students in G half’ and ‘7N – all students in N half’

Assignments for all subjects will be available every week. For Year 10 and 11, students will only complete the assignments for their specific options.

Each week the deadline for assignments will show as Friday and students will be directed to a specific teacher to email for support if needed.

Assignments will be submitted through MS Teams as normal, by following the instructions shown on the assignment and clicking hand in.

For support in completing assignments in Teams please see the attached guide, with instructions on submitting assignments from page 8 onwards: Guide to Microsoft Teams
