Covid Testing

Lateral Flow Tests (LFTs) for home testing are provided by school on a regular basis. It is recommended that students test twice weekly. We advise that the home test is completed on Sunday evening before returning to school and one evening mid-week, ie, Wednesday or Thursday. The instructions for doing the test and registering the result are all provided in the kit.

If a student has a positive Lateral Flow Test, the parent/carer must contact school (0115 964 7640 extension 1) to advise of the positive result, and arrange for a PCR test to be taken.

If a student has a positive PCR test, please email confirmation to attendance@bulwellacademy.org.uk

Please see the link below for further guidance on symptoms and what to do in the event of a positive PCR test.
