Dear Parent/Carer

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Whilst the school remains open, I want to alert parents and carers to the levels of staff absence in the Academy today due to the weather conditions today.

Currently, we are aware of 23 members of staff unable to make it in today.

We are doing our very best to cover and collapse groups, but I thought it important to make you aware of the situation we find ourselves in today.

The school site has been assessed as safe, and the Academy will be open as normal. Students are advised to allow extra time to travel to school safely and wrap up warm. If necessary, students can travel to school in alternative footwear, ie, boots / trainers, and change into their school shoes on arrival. It may be useful to bring spare socks too. Please note SNOWBALLING IS NOT PERMITTED.

We will keep you posted of any further updates via the Academy website, social media and email / text.

Please ensure we have email addresses for all parents/carers in your household by completing the Student Data online form here: https://forms.office.com/e/21F2WCRLLD
