Be the Future

Social Enterprise Competition

Miss Cooper challenges all young entrepreneurs to take part in the #BeTheFuture social enterprise competition launched by Pearson in collaboration with the Peter Jones Foundation.

The challenge is to create a social enterprise which addresses a social or environmental issue such as No Poverty, Gender Equality or Climate Action – and make a profit through selling a product or service.

The prize is an online enterprise workshop, hosted by the Peter Jones Foundation, with the opportunity to meet and hear from leading social entrepreneurs.

If you would like to enter and would like any support with your entry, please get in touch with Miss Cooper via email or Teams. The deadline for sending your entry to Miss Cooper is Wednesday 1 July.

Details of the competition and an Activity Sheet to help you complete your entry can be found below.

Returning to School: What to Expect

We are really looking forward to slowly welcoming back Years 10 and 12 from Monday 15 June. The video below shows the measures put in place to protect our school community as we begin to welcome students back to school.

No visitors will be allowed in school and students will be met at Reception for next week’s individual meetings. The video shows exactly how we will meet them and what we will expect of them.
